Q:  What is the minimum delivery?
A: A one ton (or yard) of material is the minimum.

Q: How much does a yard cover?
A: A yard covers 100 sq. ft. at a 3 inch depth. (just imagine a 10 x 10 box 3” deep)

Q: How much does a ton weigh?
A: A ton weighs 2000 lbs.

Q: How much does a yard of soil weigh?
A: It depends on the moister it ranges from 1800 to 2200 lbs.

Q: How do you figure out how much material you need?
A: All you really need are the measurements of the area you would like to landscape. For instance if you were trying to use mulch for a flower bed that was 20 feet long, 5 feet wide and you were going 3 inches deep you would need one yard of mulch.
(20x5=100 and a yard covers 100 sq ft 3” deep- so you need one yard)

Q: What is the difference between a yard and a ton?
A: A ton is the weight, whereas a yard is the volume.

Q: What is one bucket of material?
A: We have several different buckets for our loaders which range from 1 yard to 6 yards.

Q: How many bushels are in a yard?
A: 21.68 bushels equal a yard.
